Several foreign dignitaries expected to attend NaMo's oath-taking ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to take oath for his third term this week, with key alliance partners Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar assuring support to the Bharatiya Janata Party for the formation of the government.

Over 75 global leaders have conveyed their wishes to Prime Minister Modi for his success in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Leaders from regions including Asia, Europe, Africa, West Asia, and the Caribbean have reached out to express their felicitations. Nordic countries such as Denmark and Norway have also extended their congratulations.

Several foreign dignitaries, including Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, are likely to attend the oath ceremony, reportedly scheduled for June 9. Sheikh Hasina is expected to arrive in New Delhi on Friday and stay until the afternoon of June 9. Other leaders from neighboring countries such as Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Mauritius are also anticipated to attend.

Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has already accepted the invitation, and formal invitations will soon be extended to Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.
